DOG TAGS

ive experimented a fair bit with dogtags . i started out with the shape of the dog's head in fairly thick brass - breed specific so its nice and personal- and at times even the dog itself, when she doesnt fit neatly into a breed classification. the brass tag goes onto a keyring which then attaches to the collar. but then time showed us that the wear of the keyring on the brass was crazy - my dad's dog managed to wear her tag through completely. thats when i came up with this solution in the picture. because its an even circle the wear is evenly distributed all the way around and we havent seen one worn through since. its often the simple solutions that work best
